In some cases for instance when a company has not as yet filed accounts, or the credit report information received is causing you concern, NPD would recommend that you check the individual Directors involved in a company, clearly a Directors previous history in these circumstances is very relevant.
Directors reports contain the following information
Current Directorships
Date of appointment.
Date of resignation (if applicable)
Previous Directships
Date of appointment
Date of resignation (if applicable)
Current Company status (ie still live. dissolved etc)
